Alexis is a dynamic maternal and child health specialist with over 10 years of prenatal & childbirth education working as a birth and postpartum doula and wellness coach serving in the Bay Area, CA. A Southern California native, she attended UC Davis and received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Infancy and T oddlers. She worked at the local Child Development Center for 2 years and as a nanny for a family with two toddlers. With experience as a preschool teacher, she transitioned into healthcare at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in the NICU, where her love and passion for birth work emerged! Advancing her educational career, Alexis received her MPH in Health Education, Promotion and Evaluation while also working as a Lactation Consultant.
