Rose Hurd is a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She is the owner of With Love Births, which offers a holistic approach to birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum support. Because of her connection to cultural and historical ways of caring for the birthing families, Rose identifies as a Traditional Birth Worker. Rose holds several certifications as an Advanced Holistic Doula, Breastfeeding Educator, Lactation Specialist, Childbirth Educator, and Holistic Postpartum Care Practitioner. She also earned her B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences/ Early Childhood Education from Oklahoma State University. Rose’s goal is to improve birth outcomes and health outcomes in the Black community through breastfeeding.
